My new insurance policy

Well folks, I’ve got some good news. Following in the steps of Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow, I myself, have decided to take out an Insurance Policy for my own protection.

tebow-returnsTebow has taken out $2 million dollars worth of insurance policies, after he claims Florida Coach Urban Meyer “made me get it”. The Full article can be found here.

Well touché Mr. Tebow, while I am trying to become a professional blogger, I’ve realized the risk involved… the strain on the body. So I have decided that I am going to take out a $20 insurance policy. $2 for each finger I have right now. As I contemplate the future of my blogging career I cannot help but want to secure my future and the future of my family by doing this. Injuries are unpredictable and often times career ending, I just want to be smart about this so I don’t get blindsided by an unforeseen accident, or even an intentional attack upon myself by other bloggers fighting to go pro.

At least this way if I lose a thumb, I can surgically get my toe placed where my thumb used to be, aka, Toe Thumb. Not only would I be able to use my toe thumb to make a resurgence in the blogging world, I would also get $2 from my insurance policy. I could easily buy an energy drink to further my blogging hours into the night.

thumbkj4 Note: if this situation were to actually occur and anyone had the slightest intention of making fun of my toe thumb, do not forget other high profile people that were born with this condition rather than having it forced upon them.

Megan Fox has risen to the top of her profession though being afflicted with the toe thumb all of her life. Maybe she should think about following in the steps of me and Tebow by taking out an insurance policy. In her case on her toe thumb, it could be the secret to her success, and without it, you never know…. she may just be an ordinary young lady.

I apologize for going off on the “Toe Thumb Tangent” there, but I just cannot imagine not insuring the very fingers that have allowed for me to rise to the top of the draft class (whether this is true or not). All of us should take into consideration what doors Tebow is opening for not-yet-professionals in an area of work. Even if I never have to use my insurance policy, the comfort it has allowed for me, the peace of mind. It’s worth the $20 and the thoughts of Toe Thumbs. Thank you Tebow.
