Most of you by now have filled the above blank with a nice four letter word but that isn’t what I would fill it in with. I would fill it in with the word “Tweet”. I’m going to stick up for twitter because all I hear is bad things about it and various reasons why the people who use it are “idiots”. Of course the people hating are from an older generation and/or people who have never used it.
If you have never used twitter and you are of a fairly young age (under 35), then you are missing out on a great way to communicate with others fairly quickly. Twitter to me, is a mixture of Facebook and AIM. It allows Status updates and quick conversations to each other in a convenient way without all that other stuff that gets overloaded on Facebook and without having to be “online”. There are plenty of other cool things twitter has, but I’m not going to spend all that much time going over that when the real reason I’m hitting up the blog about twitter is to fire some hate back at the anti Tweeters!
Let me get this out of the way first, Charles Barkley hated on anyone who “tweets” as being an “idiot” today on the Dan Patrick Radio show. Although I feel that may very well be true, there is no reason for an old person who doesn’t know Facebook from his own ass, to be calling someone an idiot. Apparently Barkley doesn’t understand how twitter works, but that’s okay because even though I love his opinion most of the time, Sir Charles is ignorant. If anything, twitter can thank Sir Charles, because if he thinks it’s idiotic, then it must be cool and hip. Hey Charles, 1997 called, they want their 6’5 power forward NBA Star back…

As for all the other older generation people who just doesn’t get Twitter,Facebook, or anything new, get over yourselves. The same generation who hates on these today were the same people a few years ago yelling “just call the person, why Text?”, or the same people that didn’t think an email was a productive form of communication.
I know twitter isn’t for everyone, but until you try it, don’t hate! (and don’t be the person who let’s a new technology push you to the “old” generation category)

Yes you can, go to your settings and there is a mobile section. Some phones have apps as well. I think the ipod touch/iphone has an app…
