The Hangover Chronicles – Part V – The BC Mist

Hey guys sorry about being a day late this week. I know you all hate my guts now, but whatever screw you guys, good things come to those who wait. You will forgive me before you finish reading this I promise. So I got drunk as shit Saturday night and I forgot to pick up the Alka-Seltzer Morning After from the store which was supposed to be my test for this week. I was too hung over to get my ass up to the store in the morning so I thought I wasn’t going to be able to write this post. Then I got to thinking. I found a cure suitable for weekends last week, but a cure for the weekdays when we have work was requested. I wouldn’t be a true hangover scientist if I didn’t follow what I was recommending to you so this is The BC Mist.

So I felt guilty by not doing anything this past weekend so I manned up and got hammered on a Monday night. There were TV shows on (24) that I like to watch on Monday nights and the NBA playoffs were on so I decided to chill at home and drink. Now I know its lame to not only get drunk at home, but be the only one drinking at home. I realize this so I tried to spice it up a little so I decided to play Edward 40 Hands! If you are not familiar with the game you suck. Basically you tape 40oz malt liquors (my choice was Old English 800) to your hands and drink them both before you make urinations on yourself. Follow that link for full details, read it and play. Since I wasn’t playing with anybody else I didn’t feel the need to tape them to my hands. I ended up having to pee halfway through the second 40. I know I suck, but I was competing against myself here come on. Anyways so I had some pizza (big surprise) and began with the first 40. I didn’t really try and slug either one, but I did finish them both in like an hour and a half I guess. I was drunk enough to know I was going to have a hangover so I just went to bed and stopped drinking.

Ok so I woke up with a pretty bad headache and I felt like I was still drunk because I was nauseous. As soon as I got up (7am) I went downstairs, poured 2 packets of BC Powder into a 20oz bottle of Sierra Mist, mixed it up a little, and drank the shit out of it. I was highly surprised that it didn’t really affect the taste of the drink. High five to Pepsi for making a quality soda. I didn’t leave for work until 8:20 so it had at least an hour to set into my system. Tip#1: if you know you are going to be hung over on a weekday, set your alarm to give yourself an extra 30 minutes in the morning so this stuff can set in. By the time I left I could already barely tell that it was starting to work. By 10:00am I could almost not be able to tell I drank the night before and by 11:00am my hangover was completely gone. Now before you cream your jeans, note that I didn’t have the worst hangover I’ve ever had, but it definitely was a decent hangover. Usually when I have a normal hangover it is gone by 2:00pm, but I can usually still tell that I drank the night before. The BC Mist killed that shit in like 3 hours and I couldn’t even tell I drank the night before.

The reason I got BC Powder is because the ghetto ass CVS down the street didn’t have Alka-Seltzer Morning After. ASMA is only aspirin and caffeine so I got BC because it’s practically the same thing. The reason I picked Sierra Mist is because I was recommended it to mix with the BC.

Results: 2 weeks in a row! Now we officially have two cures, one for the weekends, and one for the weekdays. There are alternatives to the BC Powder. Basically just find something that has aspirin and caffeine in it. Also you don’t have to choose Sierra Mist because there is no secret ingredient in it. Whatever you like to drink just dump the BC Powder in there and you are good to go. It is recommended to take only one packet of it, but it said don’t take more than 4 packets in a day, so I figured taking 2 packets at once wasn’t going to hurt me. You could snort the BC Powder if you want you coke heads, but I don’t think that will help as much. I still have plenty of tests up my sleeve, so don’t think this is over quite yet. The next edition of THC should be a good one with a surprise guest in the mix.
