Got ems or Got yous

The act of deliberately pointing out that a person was ridiculed effectively.

General

When around a group of your friends, generally a lot of joking occurs about someone not in attendance. Most of the time laughter is the appropriate response, however, on occasion someone may feel that the joke was so effective that they may use the term Got ems to extend laughter and effectiveness of the joke.

Example

Mike is out of town for the weekend and while his friends are at a local gathering they see an ex girl Mike is rumored to have had some behind the scenes action with. The girl is not a sight for sore eyes and the rumored event may have never actually happened.

One of his friends can text, call, or send photo mail Mike stating that the girl was looking for him, effectively joking or mocking Mike. Only After the laughter has begun one can say Got ems extending laughter and/or effectiveness.

Got ems Directly to the person

The act of using Got ems directly, which makes it "Got yous".

In the above example, one of Mikes Friends could text Mike, "Got yous" allowing for even more laughter and effectiveness of the original joke.
